#30 GFP “Starburst” Wild Type Axolotl 6-7”
This GFP wild-type is one of my holdbacks that I'm releasing and is definitely looking like a Starburst with large clusters of iridophores. The base pigment should darken to near-black as an adult. They are het copper and have a 66% chance of being het axanthic and/or melanoid. Their dad is a GFP high iridophore copper named Pickle and mom is a high iridophore wild type named Princess Leia. This selection is for the exact baby in the pictures. Hatched 1/1/21. *Please keep in mind that the GFP trait will become less visible in darker phenotypes as they grow and darken. It can also take up to 18 months of age for full iridophore coverage to develop in Starburst wilds.
